As a fine jewellery of 18 years, my practice is rooted working at the intersection of traditional craftsmanship and contemporary design. My latest collection Faceted Form. Each sculpture features individually re-modelled pieces of authentic vintage jewellery dating from the 1940s to the 1990s. Sourced from a wide range of eclectic people and places, these pieces are encased in resin, allowing me to tell a contemporary story through objects of the past. The process of sourcing and transforming this jewellery is a vital and exciting part of my practice, celebrating both provenance and reinvention.
Every piece carries a distinctive smiley-face signature, formed from vintage studs originating from my father’s fashion business—an intimate detail that weaves personal history into each work. Through this collection, I extend jewellery beyond the traditional use, preserving memory, craftsmanship, and narrative within sculptural forms.
